Welcome to Competitive Wisconsin Inc.’s 2025-26 Leadership Briefing: Energy, the first in a series of publications dedicated to providing Wisconsin’s public and private sector leaders and decision-makers and the general public with data and information about Wisconsin’s most pressing challenges-opportunities. 

Competitive Wisconsin Inc.’s (CWI) decision to develop and undertake this BE BOLD initiative has been informed and driven by the eight decision accelerators we co-convened around the state on workforce housing; health care; energy; early care and education; broadband; transportation; and rural resurgence. The work is specifically dedicated to strengthening and enhancing CWI’s own data and information infrastructure so that local and regional leaders have digital access to timely, relevant, credible, actionable information regarding their priorities, and assisting local and regional leaders to achieve maximally optimum outcomes related to addressing their priorities by strengthening and enhancing their local and regional decision-making infrastructure.

To those ends, we will be prioritizing access to data and information that is timely, relevant, credible and actionable.
